Library Assistant

Tasks

• Assist in managing and organizing the school library

• Help students and staff locate and retrieve library materials

• Check library materials in and out using the library system

• Maintain library displays and ensure materials are properly shelved

• Assist with cataloging new books and updating library records

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience working in a library or similar environment is preferred

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
