Work Hours: Full Time. On-site role. (Shifts are rotating, with options for 6am-2pm and 12pm-8pm. Were open to discussing stable shift schedules if needed.)
Key Duties:
Ensure continuous network availability, performing essential maintenance.
Actively identify and resolve potential network issues.
Oversee data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Manage and maintain various aspects of computer networks and related environments, including both hardware and software components.
Implement and uphold network security protocols to safeguard data and hardware.
Manage regular network operations, including startup and shutdown processes, while keeping detailed records.
Evaluate network enhancement requests, offering technical recommendations.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, with a minimum of four years experience (experience can substitute for education).
Other Requirements:
Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting IT systems.
Proficiency in setting up and configuring Cisco routers and switches.
Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.
Understanding of spanning tree and 802.1x technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot S2S/IPSEC tunnel connections.
Experience with VLAN setups and network problem-solving.
Basic capabilities in Firewall and ISE/TACACs configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience with AWS Cloud services.
Desirable Qualifications:
Previous work experience with DISA and its mission partners is a plus.
A TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is highly advantageous.
