You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are looking for a talented Splunk Engineer to join our team. This role involves managing the transition to commercial cloud services, automating development and integration environments, and improving IT processes and customer experience. The position is based in Arlington, VA, and requires full on-site attendance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and implement reusable reports and dashboards in Splunk, integrating data from multiple sources to monitor application health and performance.
Develop automated data visualization services in Splunk.
Create and maintain Splunk dashboards for log data analysis.
Develop and configure alerts for various operational scenarios.
Administer and manage Splunk in both Windows and Linux environments.
Customize existing Splunk applications and add-ons to meet specific requirements.
Provide operational and maintenance support across Splunk infrastructure, including forwarders, indexers, and search head servers.
Manage data onboarding processes for Splunk and provide operational support for Splunk Universal Forwarder across different platforms.
Develop and support Splunk automation solutions in both on-premise and cloud settings.
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in a relevant field with at least 4 years of professional experience (or equivalent experience instead of a degree).
Strong communication skills, capable of effectively presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in configuring and managing Splunk in a multi-tenant environment.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#.
Experience with AWS Cloud tools and services is an asset.
