PR Account Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking a Publicist to join Venture in Account Executive role who is a strong communicator, extraordinary relationship-builder, talented writer, and exceptional multitasker, with strong prioritization skills and attention to detail. This is a hands-on position that requires a self-starter and strategic thinker who also relentlessly executes to drive results.

What you will be doing:

• Network and build relationships with Media across mainstream news, business, tech, consumer/lifestyle, and trade outlets to secure top-tier coverage.
  
• You will collaborate with your team and help to lead PR-earned media strategy and campaigns for between three and six B2C and B2B clients, which can include many innovative technology brands and fun consumer devices.
  
• Assist with the development and execution of the Public Relations Strategy to advance our clients' business' strategic objectives with key audiences.
  
• Ability to generate & develop a plan for a campaign or entire PR program and execute brand initiatives.
  
• Help to create and review strategies and client materials written by teammates, including media lists, press releases, contributed content, executive commentary and briefing documents.
  
• Handle client planning and daily oversight, sign-off on all client materials, PR plan development, understanding their client s market and how it compares to key competitors.
  
• Oversee and generate consistent results and client communication.
  

Requirements

What we look for:

• Minimum of two years of public relations, managing client campaigns, a plus if any of these clients were in technology, electronics or were innovative startups
  
• Passionate and an excellent writer and communicator.
  
• Have a passion for mentorship and training.
