Job Description:
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic you will play a critical role in ensuring that our fleet of heavy equipment is well-maintained and in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities include:
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders.
- Routine Inspections: Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues, ensuring the safety and reliability of the equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to pinpoint issues and develop effective solutions.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend the life span of our equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities, as well as parts inventory.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, with expertise in diagnosing and repairing a range of heavy equipment.
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other heavy equipment components.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation:
Competitive salary up to 135k an year
Shift:
Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
