Licensed Medical Aesthetician LMA

HerMD is seeking an experienced full time Medical Aesthetician to join our Aesthetic Team at our new full service med spa location in Carmel, Indiana!

As a physician-founded practice, we understand the challenges medical providers experience daily. HerMD is resurrecting the patient-provider relationship, allowing our Medical Aestheticians to spend quality time with each patient and a sustainable work-life balance.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidates should possess a commitment to excellent patient care and be able to work well under pressure. We are looking for self-motivated, detail-oriented, polished people, with a professional positive attitude and a passion for aesthetic medicine!

• Perform and educate aesthetic treatments within the scope of license and services including HydraFacial, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, and aesthetic consultations including skincare and body contouring, lash lift/tint, and facial waxing.
  

• Effectively inform/educate patients about our treatment/service offerings.
  

• Handle all timely client questions and concerns professionally, courteously
  

• Marketing - Support, distribute, and communicate marketing ideas, promotions, and materials that will support the practice entirely.
  

• Maintain knowledge of the aesthetic industry and cosmetic procedures in the industry.
  

• Actively support the efforts in growing the Aesthetic department through in-house events, marketing team social media support, and understanding industry reward systems with company promotions.
  

• Maintain treatment room prep, organization, service product inventory, and proper cleaning as required.
  

• Assist in all areas of aesthetic operations as requested by management
  

• Properly care for aesthetic equipment, including any and all equipment maintenance requirements.
  

• Accurately review and record patients treatment in the EMR system.
  

• Maintain a positive attitude, contribute toward a quality, healthy, and fun work environment.
  

• Attend and participate in training and meetings for the Aesthetic department, including but not limited to - company-wide meetings, lunch and learns, and any other events at the request of the executive team.
  

• Regularly attend and participate in all trainings and staff meetings for the spa

Requirements

• At least two years of medical spa experience is required
  

• Active Medical Aesthetician License in Indianad
  

• Must be comfortable with sales and meeting company sales goals
  

• Understand and adhere to patient confidentiality, maintaining HIPAA compliance at all times
  

• Strong attention to detail
  

• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  

Nice to haves

• An interest in improving women s healthcare
  

• Prior marketing experience
  

• Prior sales experience
