Job Title: Azure Monitoring Specialist (L2)

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based monitoring solutions for large-scale Azure environments.
  
• Monitor system performance, capacity and security and identify potential issues proactively.
  
• Implement and configure Azure Log Analytics, Azure Monitor and Azure Alerts.
  
• Design and deploy custom scripts and solutions to enhance the monitoring capabilities.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and alert notifications.
  
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure availability and performance of the Azure infrastructure.
  
• Mentor and train junior members of the team in monitoring best practices and techniques.
  
• Monitor on prem environment from tools like SolarWinds
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud-based monitoring and management.
  
• Knowledge in SolarWinds is added advantage
  
• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and features, specifically Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Alerts.
  
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.
  
• Familiarity with log analysis, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is preferred.
  
• Industry-recognized certifications in IT Monitoring and Management, such as ITIL or DevOps.
