Warehouse Shipping Lead

Are you passionate about streamlining shipping processes and working in a dynamic environment? Step right up! We're on the hunt for a dedicated Shipping Department Lead to bring their expertise to our client's growing team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a 90-day perm hire expectation.

What We're Looking For:

• Leadership Prowess: Supervise and guide your team effectively, especially in the absence of the supervisor.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure orders are prepared promptly and oversee all sign-off sheets.
• Communication Skills: Foster strong relationships with all departments and maintain clear communication with the management team.
• Efficiency: Manage a small stocking area efficiently, ensuring all stocking is completed ASAP.
• Adaptability: From checking emails to actively participating in packing, we need someone versatile and proactive.
• Role Model: Exemplify impeccable work habits and always encourage the team to strive for excellence.

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading checks during packing time and taking charge of the daily line-up.
• Mastering all types of order scanning and packing while suggesting improvements.
• Overseeing the daily clean-up to keep our workspace spick and span.

What You'll Need:

• Commitment to our Monday - Friday, 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm schedule.
• A High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment (preferably focusing on order pulling, packing, and shipping).
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical or veterinary inventory? That's a big plus!

$19/hour to start - Temp-to-Hire
