Job Description

At our hospital, we treat your whole pet, never just a health condition or symptom. Our comprehensive approach to pet health care includes prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals as needed. We believe in blending state-of-the-art technology and treatment with a personal touch. Every person on our staff is here because he or she has a special bond with animals and is committed to their health and well-being.

We are looking for a passionate veterinarian to join our team. We are currently a two-doctor general practice with growing needs to support the community. Our goal is not only to provide excellent patient care but also to promote a healthy work life balance for our employees. We offer scheduled appointments only, a flexible work schedule, no overnights or on call, scheduled lunch breaks and work up times. Our hospital is located within 1 mile of a 24-hour emergency and specialty facility.

Essential Responsibilities & Functions

  • Dedication to provide patients with a high level of veterinary care while utilizing the latest advances in diagnostics.
  • A client service mindset with desire and ability to bring, build, and retain a strong client base.
  • Enthusiasm about giving back to and building relationships with the local community.
  • The ability to champion the practice s objectives and values and inspire others.
  • Follow the established policies and procedures that govern the normal operation of the hospital.
  • Dedication efficiently handling caseloads and maintaining accurate records using SOAP templates for treatment plans and recommendations.
  • Promote a collaborative working environment and encourage the value of teamwork.


Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • State Veterinary Board License in good standing.
