Job Description
Seeking a Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator to further enhance the CSR action capabilities in the Americas division for a global manufacturing company specialized in retail designs.
The ideal candidate is driven by goal to enhance sustainability. You are aware of sustainability issues and methodologies to address them at corporate level. Working knowledge of eco-design within manufacturing or similar environments is highly desired.
What you will do:
- Enable and accelerate CSR actions throughout the Americas business unit.
- Help management, in the factories and centrally in Long-Island, to develop its CSR strategy and act on it.
- Train & support sales, and more generally unit teams, on their projects and client interactions regarding eco-design and CSR.
- Liaise with central CSR on extra-financial performance, eco-design and CSR policy.
- Support eco-design and generally impact improvement efforts.
- Extra-financial performance monitoring: work in close collaboration with CSR reporting contributors at site level and Group extra-financial controller to:
- Contribute to / in charge of CSR projects, at BU level or site level. Specific projects will differ from specific biodiversity improvement actions, training.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience of coordinating Corporate Social Responsibility
- Good with data and ideally with design engineering. Capacity to analyze complex data, synthesize and communicate it clearly; willingness to search and understand.
- Good interpersonal skills capability to generate enthusiasm for CSR and communicate effectively and with good clarity, even complex elements.
- Engineering background a plus.
