REPORTS TO: Director of AV and Technology Systems
JOB PURPOSE
The Audio-Visual (AV) and Technology Systems Service Manager works both hands on and in the office with the AV and Technology Systems department.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete need scheduling, RMA processing, client support, and other assigned tasks
Work with physical installations, ceiling mounting projectors, flat panel displays, AV and mechanical interactive components within commercial buildings
Use of hand tools and test equipment to solder, crimp, and compress connections
Physical installation of AV racks, commercial low voltage wiring/connectors/terminations
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues both in-house and on-site
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Five years’ experience in systems integration, Including knowledge of:
Professional Audio DSP Matrixes
Professional Video and Matrix Switching Systems
Signal Management
Control System Installation
Control System Programming
Networks/IT configuration
Basic Project Management experience skills dealing with customers and other trades
Basic or better understanding of Electronic theory
Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions
Personable attitude, self-starter, self-motivated and team player
Ability to travel one to two weeks every couple of months
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Comfortable with heights, ladders and man-lifts up to 35 feet
Valid Driver’s License, active personal vehicle insurance, and maintained safe driving record
High School Diploma/GED or better
Preferred
ICIA-CTS, CST-I certification or equivalent
Experience with commercial lighting, CAD/VISO, and/or AMX/Creston programming
Experience with RMA processing, scheduling, providing client support, and team coordination

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Operations
JOB PURPOSE: The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, tracking and installation of a specific project, while interfacing with both construction professionals and the client.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan the Project
Define the scope of the project in collaboration with estimating and senior management
Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
Determine the resources required to complete the project
Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
Review the project schedule with senior management and all other stakeholders; revise and maintain the schedule as required
Implement the Project
Execute the project according to the project plan
Document project activities as required
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
Establish communication schedule to update stakeholders and manage periodic internal meetings with support staff to review progress
Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
Control the Project
Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures
Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures
Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date
Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for clients as outlined in project agreements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Proficiency in the use of computers, including:
Word Processing
Simple Accounting-Project Estimating
Spreadsheets-Excel
E-Mail and Internet usage
Preferred
University Degree in related subject
Experience within Museum industry
3 to 5 years of project management experience
