Accounting Specialist Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing cash flow and financial efficiency of the organization.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control activities.
• Conduct financial analysis and recommend improvements for financial performance.
• Assist with tax preparation and compliance.
• Support the preparation of audit documentation and liaise with auditors.
• Stay updated with accounting regulations and ensure compliance.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proven experience and proficiency in cash flow management and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience in the heavy equipment industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices and regulations.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred but not required.
