Job Description

Client Overview

Our client is a multinational global leader in the machinery manufacturing industry. To aid in their daily operations, we are looking for a Service Manager.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the field service technicians who perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Oversees the scheduling and training of field service representatives.
  • Provide support to technicians that are onsite at a customers
  • Monitoring customers open cases
  • Updating cases in sales force
  • Escalation point of reference for customer issues
  • Setup customer training dates
  • Customer software training
  • Machine and software demos
  • Establish procedures for the service department to follow when in office and in the field
  • Check technicians expenses for service and installation calls
  • Work cross-functionally with accounting team to manage invoicing for service calls
  • Escalating issues to corporate HQ when needed
  • Profile evaluation and time studies
  • Assist customers with issues relating to machinery services
  • Manage the daily migration of machinery in and out of the facility
  • Software integration for customers as well has helping service teams with necessary software needed to perform processes that meet customers needs
  • Scheduling of machine installations
  • Traveling to customers site when needed

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-10 years of service manager experience within machinery manufacturing industry
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Relationship management and high attention to detail
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM system

Candidate must show proof of US citizenship/visa/alien registration.
