ASSOCIATE FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Overview
Our client is currently seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join their growing team in their Houston, TX office.
The Associate Financial Advisor, or AFA, will support the Financial Advisor to further develop and enhance existing client relationships. The AFA will assist the Financial Advisor by attending client meetings covering financial planning, investment strategy, tax optimization and portfolio performance. The AFA will act as a key point of contact for clients on non-administrative requests and will communicate with team members to assist with the coordination of all sales, service activities, and business development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and own the client onboarding process
- Assist the Financial Advisor with the client s review schedule
- Document client interactions and provide team with time-sensitive updates
- Execute on the team service model
- Engage the team to address client s needs
- Attend client review meetings to assist in re-discovery conversations, capture notes to follow up in Salesforce, and track all actions and activities to ensure the highest level of client service
- Monitor and report on client satisfaction and manage the resolution of client escalations
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of financial service industry experience
- Series 65
- Obtain and/or maintain CFP Designation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on relationship management and the ability to connect with clients
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively and efficiently
- Capability to lead through collaboration and influence with direct authority
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the suite of firm services
- Ability to research escalated client issues for response/resolution
- Self-starter with the aptitude to work effectively and efficiently
