Job Description

Technical Product Manager

Location: Huntersville, NC (Onsite)

Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Guide the technical pathway for external integrations, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to derive requirements, assimilate feedback, and address associated challenges.

Integration Expertise: Lead the development and optimization of external integrations, encompassing API, EDI, Punchout, and Shop Management System (SMS) integrations.

Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the technical and business roadmap defined by senior leadership.

Team Collaboration: Engage with engineering and product teams, translating strategic goals into technical requirements, and fostering a culture of trust and innovation.

Agile Practices: Champion agile ceremonies, and ensure that the team adheres to and evolves the scrum practices, driving efficiency and productivity.

Product Delivery: Partner with the Senior Product Manager to streamline product delivery processes, manage technical scope, and address potential roadblocks.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Product Manager, preferably in a technical and integration-heavy domain.
  • Thorough understanding and practical knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with external integrations
  • Competency in tools and platforms such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Postman.
  • Strong grasp of JSON and its applications in data interchange.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on collaborating with senior product roles and engineering teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with specific EDI Transactions pertaining to orders, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Past integration experience with ERP, Shop Management Software (SMS) and other 3rd party systems.
