Java Developer

Education/qualification:

Candidate should have at least 10+ Plus years of IT experience on Enterprise level of application Architecture, Strategies and Solutions covering Java full stack technologies. Proficient in Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, Spring Boot, Rest Services, extensive knowledge in Cloud Technologies like PCF, AWS, AZURE etc. Implement Development practices, innovative solutions, big ticket rewrite projects, high level and low level designing and implementation for enterprise level applications covering presentation, middle and backend areas for one of our biggest client in Banking & Capital Markets domain. This individual requires a big picture focus, broad business process experience, relationship building, and client management skills. Communication is a key focus, also a process-driven mentality, and should be able to work in liaison with senior project management team. Candidate should have led small teams and has been working as Lead. Must have good working experience in an offshore development team based out of USA. Must have prior experience in customer facing role, at onshore (USA).

Technical Skills:

? Hands on Experience on:

o JAVA 11 - Functional Programming

o Experience in developing Web Application using classic or traditional java web frameworks like Struts, Spring

o Experience in developing & deploying middle ware applications using a variety of modern technologies: Mongo, Redis, SQL Server, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Rabbit MQ, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Components, Spring Cloud Config Server, Spring Cloud Data Flow.

o Experience in developing and integrating with Web API (REST), SOAP Services, Api Gateways

o Experience in Kafka

o Understanding of NoSQL Databases, Security, Performance tuning of applications.

o Ability to design patterns for moving from legacy environments to cloud and influence strategic direction. Micro Services Standards and Design Concepts

o Experience in Angular/HTML/CSS/JavaScript is preferred

o Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M preferred.

o Experience and successful modernization of client applications (re-platforming, re-hosting and service enablement)

o Experience with performance engineering and educating teams on non-functional requirements to achieve web scale

? Know how and working knowledge on:

o Events/Stream driven patterns

o b. GIT based source control

o c. CI/CD tools like Bamboo/Jenkins

o d. One of the Cloud offerings - preferably PCF/GCP/AWS

o e. Unit Testing Framework/s, TDD environment

? Good to have:

o Working knowledge on Docker/Kubernetes

o Hands-on on analysis tools like SPLUNK

o Wealth Management and/or Financial Services industry experience is a plus.
