We re looking for a full time veterinarian who is a compassionate, team player and strong communicator. We could support an experienced associate veterinarian or provide a great mentorship program to support new or recent graduates as well!
Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, progressive, fast-paced 5-6 doctor general practice located in Mount Dora, FL. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including Preventative Care, Surgery, Urgent Care, Orthopedic Surgery, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full body radiology, cold laser therapy, CO2 surgical laser, brand new Versana Active ultrasound, Medical and/or Vacation Boarding and more.
We are starting our renovation to add 5 new exam rooms within the next few weeks. By this fall, we will have 10 exam rooms and a new surgery/treatment suite! We will have plenty of room to hire additional veterinarians!
Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is located in the beautiful small town of Mount Dora, FL. The proximity to 429 allows for easy commuting to Orlando. Orange County public schools are wonderful and full of opportunities, making it an ideal area to raise a family! Popular activities in the area include Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and many state parks for hiking, many close beaches, swimming, and camping. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
- Active Veterinary State License
- USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
