Job Description
Job Title: Oracle ERP Techno-Functional Consultant /Developer (Java/PL/SQL)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle ERP Techno-Functional Consultant/Developer with expertise in Java and PL/SQL to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle ERP modules and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and functional aspects of Oracle ERP implementations. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize ERP solutions that meet business needs while leveraging Java and PL/SQL technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements for Oracle ERP implementations.
- Implement and Support Oracle Cloud SCM production systems.
- Gather business requirements, document those and do fit gap analysis.
- Engage business users spanning multiple business units and ensure cohesive articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective technology solutions.
- Do system configurations, create functional design documents, develop and document test scripts.
- Conduct requirement and design workshops, manage and run conference room pilots and user testing workshops.
- Ability to help technical team and provide them appropriate functional inputs.
- Supply Chain Savvy: Prior experience in Supply Chain (SCM), ASCP, and/or Cost Accounting in an IT business role.
- Technical Know-How: Working knowledge of Oracle Supply Chain Planning, Oracle Order Management, Inventory, Pricing, and Cost Accounting & SLA.
- Cloud Experience: Previous involvement in new implementations and/or upgrades to Oracle Cloud SCM is a plus.
- Design and configure Oracle ERP modules, ensuring they align with business processes and requirements.
- Develop custom solutions and extensions using Java and PL/SQL to enhance Oracle ERP functionality.
- Perform data migration and integration tasks to connect Oracle ERP with other systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle ERP, Java, and PL/SQL.
- Collaborate with developers and functional consultants to ensure seamless ERP system integration.
- Provide expertise in Oracle ERP best practices and recommend improvements to existing processes.
- Conduct system testing, user training, and documentation as needed for ERP projects.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in Oracle ERP, Java, and PL/SQL.
- Mentor and assist junior consultants in their Oracle ERP technical and functional roles.
Required Skills:
- Oracle Applications Implementation / Support experience with Oracle Supply Chain modules - Inventory, Purchasing, Procurement and Order Management.
- Proven experience as an Oracle ERP Techno-Functional Consultant and Developer with Java and PL/SQL expertise.
- Understanding of Manufacturing Modules (BOM and WIP), Advance Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) are highly desirable.
- Experience in implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud SCM is highly desirable.
- Through knowledge of Oracle EBS / Cloud architecture (OCI)and administration and the ability to quickly diagnose and solve system problems.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Cloud ERP modules.
- Proficiency in Java programming language and PL/SQL scripting.
- Experience with ERP implementation projects, including customization, configuration, and integration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Oracle certifications related to ERP modules are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
