Job Description
Skills Required:
The Technical Architect will possess knowledge and experience in analyses and development of conceptual designs and detail designs; designing DB schema as per the requirements and in sync with the old system; implementing the daily and weekly jobs that interact with external interfaces; coordinating with business stakeholders to understand their requirements; communicate with cross-divisional personnel at both team and executive levels to understand performance measurement methodologies; and direct team members in compiling business requirements and executing project milestones.
This classification must have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in systems development, analysis, programming or testing, Oracle database system management.
10+ years experience performing IBM DB2 LUW database systems administration, including installing and upgrading to new versions and applying maintenance processes; install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot HADR auto failover. Experience developing automation scripts using WMI, PowerShell, Perl, Python, Jenkins, Ansible, or Unix/Linux shell scripts etc.; Experience using a DevOps GIT source code management tool. Five+ years experience working with IBM DB2 LUW database systems in a RedHat Linux platform environment, installing new software releases, applying maintenance patches and fixes, and performing regular database administration support services including monitoring and troubleshooting. Experience working with IBM Data Management Console, installing and configuring new releases, and setting up monitoring profiles. Experience supporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting ADABAS/Natural database systems. Experience utilizing DBeaver to monitor DB2 resources and usage. Experience supporting Linux RedHat database systems running in a VMware virtualized platform. Experience managing systems in any Cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
