Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000
Location: Carlisle

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate for the position of Operations Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day warehouse and operational side of the business. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead an experienced team, setting clear expectations, and providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and organisational goals.
- Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Continuously assess and improve operational processes identifying opportunities for streamlining and optimising workflows.
- Oversee the allocation of resources, including personal equipment and materials to meet operational needs.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products and services meet or exceed industry standards.
- Monitor operational budgets, control costs and seek opportunities for cost saving without compromising quality.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant industry standards, regulations and company policies.
- Prepare regular operational reports, highlight key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Previous experience of managing and motivating a team while driving a positive work environment.
- Capable of developing short-term and long-term strategies to achieve operational objectives and company goals.
- Proficient in identifying issues, analysing complex situations and finding effective solutions to improve operations and mitigate challenges.
- Understanding of financial principles and the ability to manage budgets, control costs and identify areas for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Skilled in implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure products and services meet or exceed industry standards.
