Required Skill Set :
Experience with IBM DataPower firmware deployment, policy configuration, and application integration.

Experience with XS40, XI50, XG45, or equivalent device models.
Experience with multiple DataPower services, including XML firewall, Crypto objects, Web Service Proxy, and Multi-Protocol Gateways.
Experience creating and deploying XSLT, XSDs, and WSDLs.
Experience with DataPower AAA (authentication, authorization, and auditing).

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a DataPower Consultant to work remotely.
The candidate applies subject matter expertise of IBM DataPower, service-oriented architecture, and web services to support a web application hosting infrastructure. Candidate must possess intermediate or higher DataPower developer experience working with DataPower services. Candidate is responsible for development and performing ongoing maintenance, to include ensuring devices comply with enterprise security policies. Candidate works with application development teams to configure devices to support new and changing application requirements. Candidate coordinates with architecture groups to generate product roadmaps and create capacity plans. This position requires development and deployment expertise, as well as experience troubleshooting incidents.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, test and document DataPower services.
Works with application integration engineers, developers, and SMEs to ensure authentication/authorization services are configured in accordance with business requirements and enterprise security policies.
Works with customer to deploy WSDL files and update configurations to meet evolving business needs.
Troubleshoots incidents in development and production environments.
Meets with auditors to provide implementation details and compliance data. Works with application and operations teams to ensure successful upgrades of infrastructure components and Application code.
Participates in incident and change management processes.
Creates and maintains work instructions and deployment documentation. Provides after-hours on-call support.
Required Skills and/or Product Knowledge:
Possess intermediate or higher DataPower developer experience.

Knowledge of PKI certificates and their use in secure environments, to include obtaining and installing PKI certificates, trust chaining,
mutual authentication, and working with private CAs.
Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), B2B and cloud layers
Understanding of software development life cycle
Possess strong troubleshooting skills.
Able to consistently apply quality and security standards.
Able to work effectively with technical team members and work diplomatically with customers.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with SOMA scripting and API integration
Experience working with DataPower and VMs in an Enterprise Cloud environment.
Experience with web services via an access manager, such as through a SiteMinder-protected XML firewall.
Experience with CA SiteMinder/Single Sign-On or equivalent web access management product.
Experience with Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
Understanding of the complete Identity and Access Management landscape, including the role of user provisioning systems; directories and virtual directories; public-key infrastructure as an authentication technology; and access compliance and reporting systems.
Experience in an ITIL environment and working with a service ticketing system.
