Position: Web Content Author

Job Overview
Looking for a dedicated Web Content Author/content manager interested in joining a dynamic website management team responsible for all company's websites (devry.edu, partner websites, etc.). This team is a dynamic and innovative organization focused on delivering outstanding web content to enhance our online presence. The resource will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality web content that engages our audience.
You will be responsible for managing a large volume of website pages, interacting with stakeholders and other teams across the entire organization, including Academics, B2B, Compliance, etc; processing Program Implementation Requests (PIs), and other requests for website changes and managing web content across multiple sites.
What the Day to Day will look like?
- Regularly review Asana for tasks, tickets, and changes related to web content.
- Assess new pages that need to be created and updates to existing content.
- Prioritize and manage tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Content Manager in the assignment of web content tickets.
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather additional information if needed for content creation or updates.
- Arrange meetings as necessary for stakeholder discussions.
- Attend daily meetings to discuss changes, updates, and any urgent web content issues.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of bi-weekly website releases, typically starting at 7 a.m. CST.
- Be available for monthly weekend releases as required (once a month will need to be available for the weekend website release).
- Utilize Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to build, update, and publish web pages.
- Reach out to stakeholders to address questions or clarify requirements related to web content tickets.
- Coordinate with leadership for the approval of web pages before release.
- Ensure that content aligns with company standards and expectations.
Technical Stack:
- Adobe AEM; Asana, Jira, HTML/CSS, Office365
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Min 5+ yrs of experience managing multiple sites; ability to handle a large volume of work
- Experience with HTML and familiarity with CSS
- Proficiency with web content management systems, with experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) being a plus.
- Nice to have: Adobe AEM, Asana (or any other similar tool like Basecamp, Teamwork)
- Strong organizational and task management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to participate in occasional weekend releases and early morning start times for releases.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
