Colorado state issued certificate - (Required) High school graduate or equivalent. Obtain First Aid/CPR training.Essential Job Functions:1. Provide care to students as outlined in the Individualized Health Care Plan.2. Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate).3. Provide direct care such as assisting with bathing, eating, toileting, dressing, and walking students.4. Turn and reposition wheelchair bound students to prevent breakdown of their skin. 5. Record amount of oral intake and measure urinary output.6. Collect specimens for tests.7. Interact with students and family.8. Transport students and equipment as needed.9. Perform accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times.10. Monitor students and report any variances to normal to the nurse for further assessment.11. Maintain confidentiality.12. Maintain supplies, and equipment 13. Prepare and administer medication under the supervision of the RN.
