Finance Manager

For our client, a leading global business operating in the machinery manufacturing industry, we are looking for a Finance Manager to support their strategic vision to grow within the USA.

Mission

The goal of the Finance Manager is to guarantee the correct logging and reporting of administrative and accounting transactions and the proper running of financial leverages for the Company, in order to ensure the fulfillment of tax obligations, the safeguarding of the economic-financial assets of the Company, in compliance with business objectives, accounting principles, standards and policies from Headquarters, as well as with any regulation in force.

Main responsibilities:

• Support the Site Manager in elaborating the site's budget for the year and cash flow forecast, providing to all the Departments and to Headquarters monthly actual data and analysis of possible deviations from the annual budget and/or period, in order to implement and/or make possible timely initiatives.
• Guarantee the proper realization and management of the administrative documents / statements required by law, executing both timely payments for suppliers, taxes, duties, VAT, EBT, etc., to the respective counterparts (AP management), and collecting payments from the Customers (AR management), according to any law in force, existing contracts and Company procedures
• Ensure the accuracy of accounting records in the Company, assessing possible tax implications, proposing and participating in defining specific local procedures and tools
• Ensure the control of costs, revenues and margins for the Company, providing economic reporting on a monthly basis
• Ensure the preparation of annual Financial Statements for the year, organizing and supervising the accounts and related accounting ledgers
• Guarantee maintenance and control for the bank's accounts, monitoring the cash flow and the appropriate execution of financial transactions, in line with Headquarters guidelines and procedures as well as with commercial agreements with the banks, customers and suppliers, and in compliance with the law
• Contribute to ensure the protection of Property, executing or facilitating the audits requested (both internal and external), maintaining properly specific books (fixed assets and intangible assets), and supporting risk assessment and investigation activities aimed at minimizing several risks (such as credit risks, legal & commercial risks, insurance risk, financing risks, tax treatment, etc.), in line with Headquarters' procedures as well as with insurance policies held by the Group and in compliance with the law
• Guarantee an effective management of the collaborators, by taking care of their training, motivation and professional growth

• Problem solving aptitude
• At least 5 years as Finance Manager in multinational manufacturing companies (machinery sector)
• Degree in Economics / Accounting / Finance ; MBA and other relevant certificates preferred
• CPA preferred
• SAP preferred, proficiency in Excel required
• Fluent in English language
