Bay Area Veterinary Specialists located in San Leandro, CA is looking for an Emergency Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.
Sign-on Bonus up to $75k with a two-year+ commitment for doctors with 2+ years of experience!
The hospital is well established in the community. Currently we have specialty services including internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, oncology and surgery. The clinic has a large emergency and urgent care caseload. In house radiology (DACVR) services are available daily as well. Naturally, with all these specialists, we also have all the latest toys (diagnostic, therapeutic and monitoring) that are needed to support them including a linear accelerator, C-Arm, CT, and DR.
The position consists of a rotating schedule with some day, swing, and overnight shifts. Our ER doctors generally work an average of 12 shifts/month.
We are located just a 20 minute drive from San Francisco and the Bay Area is a hub of culture and fun! Some of the best restaurants in the US are located here, in the Bay Area, and we are just a short drive from Napa Valley(the wine center of the world). There are a plethora of outdoor and aquatic activities for any adventurer or thrill seeker. For those that like to travel, both domestic and internationally, we are within a 30 minute drive to the Oakland and San Francisco International Airport.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Active Veterinary State License

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000.
