Remote Enterprise Solution Architect

Client seeking an Enterprise & Solution Architect to review vendor responses for a Request for Proposal (RFP) aimed at implementing a re-platforming of the Client Content Management System which manages both the intranet and internet web sites which are current maintained in Drupel 7. The selected resource would provide recommendations to Information Services and Communications regarding the security, sustainability, and limitations or advantages of a solution as a potential long-term component of a more complete Digital Experience Platform (DXP). **Experience** Experience with designing DXP including Content Management Systems (CMS). Experience re-platforming websites between different CMS solutions or different versions of the same CMS. Experience evaluating potential CMS solutions. Experience writing professional responses and reports. **Contractor's Duties** **Contractor will ensure the Enterprise & Solution Architect will work as part of the Client Website Re-platforming Project team to:** Supply responses to vendor-supplied questions during the proposal development phase regarding web architecture or technical issues. Review all vendor proposals for a CMS with attention to technical and functional aspects of proposed solutions. Provide Information Services and Communications with an initial summary of each vendors' proposed solution based on: Capability of the proposed solution to provide secure services appropriately aligned with County security standards and industry best practices. Advantages and challenges to re-platforming the current sites to the proposed solution. Technical capability to meet functional requirements of the RFP. Potential advantages or limitations of the proposed solution in relationship to future enhancements or integrations, including expansion into a DXP. Consult in solution demonstration/vendor interviews as scheduled on up to 6 vendors as part of the RFP evaluation process to gain further understanding of proposed solutions, their implementation, and potential limitations. Provide Information Services and Communications with a final summary of these vendor solutions like the initial summary but based on the information gained during interviews and demonstrations. **Project Environment** The Enterprise & Solution Architect work can be conducted remotely. Communication and collaboration will be done primarily through Client's MS Teams platform. The Enterprise & Solution Architect will work with Information Services and Communications.
