We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team and oversee the maintenance of our subscription and portal assets. As the IT Asset Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of IT assets including MiFi devices,
mobile devices, software subscriptions such as Office 365, Adobe, Autodesk, and more. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining accurate records, tracking usage, and optimizing asset utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Subscription and Portal Management: Maintain and oversee the subscription and portal assets, including MiFi devices, cellphones, and software subscriptions (Office 365, Adobe, Autodesk, etc.).
• Mobile Device Management: Implement and manage processes for mobile device management, ensuring secure and efficient usage across the organization.
• Asset Inventory: Develop and manage a comprehensive inventory of all IT assets through an asset management system. Ensure accuracy, auditability, and UpToDate records of hardware and software assets.
• License and Agreement Tracking: Keep track of software licenses, warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts. Maintain organized documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Physical Inventory: Conduct periodic physical inventories of assets to verify their existence and condition. Record findings and reconcile any discrepancies discovered during the inventory process.
• Usage Monitoring: Regularly monitor the usage patterns of IT assets to identify potential inefficiencies or underutilization. Provide insights for optimization and cost saving opportunities.
• Contractor Management: Collaborate with internal teams to track down contractors with physical machines. Facilitate their enrollment in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) systems for streamlined management.
• Absolute Software Administration: Manage and administer Absolute Software for enhanced security and tracking capabilities.
• Software Compliance Reporting: Generate reports on software compliance status and ensure alignment with licensing agreements. Keep management informed about any potential compliance risks.
• Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement process by facilitating the purchase of IT assets based on approved requisitions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in IT asset management, subscription management, and software compliance tracking.
• Familiarity with mobile device management systems and methodologies.
• Proficiency in managing software subscriptions such as Office 365, Adobe, and Autodesk.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate asset tracking.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Knowledge of Absolute Software administration is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
