Purpose of the job

To work within the Insurance Division and provide support to help deliver the Insurance Strategy. Specifically, the role will assist in delivering financial insight, improving finance processes, reporting and preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.

The role is critical to aiding the streamlining of both routine and ad-hoc reporting requirements and reports to the Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner

To support the commercial finance and business partnering deliverables team and be a key contributor to evolving finance as a trusted partner to the business for Collinson.

Key Responsibilities

• To prepare monthly reporting of the Insurance result, including analysis of key variances and identification of risks and opportunities.
• To help produce rolling and annual budgets, submitting on time to Group once approved.
• Gain knowledge of loading and reporting in the consolidated Group Infor system.
• Help deliver the Commercial Finance Team s goal of implementing its own bespoke budgeting software - Tagetik.
• Assist with driving profitable growth across the Division.
• Among other regular month-end reports, the production of monthly financial KPI dashboard.
• Assist in providing scenario modelling, commercial pricing support and analysis to support client propositions and business decisions.
• Ad hoc support / analysis where required.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

• Good Communication skills both written and oral
• Strong IT skills, Intermediate/Advanced Excel
• ACCA/CIMA part qualified / University Graduate preferably Maths
• Experience of SAP preferred
• Has to be a self-starter, inquisitive and happy to work independently when required
• Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and deliver results.
• Highly motivated and focused on achieving company goals
