Hands-On Butler/House Manager

Location: Watlington, Oxfordshire

Accommodation: 2 bed house provided (or can be live out)

Salary: Highly Negotiable for exceptional candidates from 60k gross per annum

Job Description: Brand new position for an experienced "hands-on" Butler/House Manager to join a new team of KS Housekeepers in a formal and prestigious family home near Henley. As the Butler/House Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards expected by the discerning principals. You will also be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the team and liaising with the Estate Manager and Principals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Household Management: Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the formal residence, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
   

2. Supervision and Training: Lead, guide, and motivate the team of Housekeepers, providing training and support as needed to maintain a top-notch housekeeping department.
   

3. Guest Services: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by coordinating and executing impeccable service during events and gatherings.
   

4. Inventory and Supplies: Manage household inventories, stock levels, and procurement of supplies.
   

5. Butler Duties: Execute traditional butler responsibilities, valet duties, and personal assistance to the principals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in a similar role with a strong background in butler and house management.
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to upholding high standards of service.
  
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a team.
  
• Flexibility to work in a busy family home environment and adapt to changing needs.
  
• Driving license essential due to location.
  
• Discretion, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.
  
• This can be a live in or live out role. If live in, separate 2 bed staff accommodation is provided (pets and partners considered)
  
• Working 5 days per week, 45hrs with occasional weekends needed (rostered in advance)
