Job Description

Job Title: Early Years Tutor

Location: Hertfordshire, North London, Peterborough, Bedfordshire
Reports To: Team Manager

Job Overview:
We are excited to welcome an Early Years Tutor to join our team of passionate education professionals. Early Years is a leading provision within our portfolio, backed by our reputation as an outstanding training provider with over 30 years of experience. In this role, you will deliver our apprenticeship programs through a blend of online and face-to-face learning at the employer s premises. Working closely with employers, you will develop apprentices knowledge, skills, behaviour, as well as math and English proficiency.

After a comprehensive induction, you will manage your own caseload of apprentices, ranging from new entrants to those looking to advance their careers. This is a home-based role with travel involved, and the delivery includes a blend of face-to-face and online sessions via MS Teams, so IT proficiency is essential.

Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of sector experience with at least 2 years at a management level.
- A passion for teaching and developing individuals to fulfil their potential.
- Strong education and teaching skills.
- Proficiency in math, English, and IT.
- Experience using online learning platforms and e-portfolios.
- Confidence in utilising a blend of stand-up delivery, coaching, and assessing.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with excellent organization and planning skills.
- Over 1 years current experience as a tutor/assessor (desirable).
- Relevant assessing/teaching qualifications (e.g., TAQA, AET, or above/equivalent) (desirable).
- Experience in delivering functional skills to level 2 (desirable).
- Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel for this role (desirable).
