Job Description

Job Title: Workshop Controller - Bodyshop / Accident Repair
Location: Leicester, LE8
Salary: Basic 35,000 to 40,000 depending on experience + Bonus
Type: Permanent Position, Monday to Friday (Flexible working hours negotiable)


Are you ready to steer your career in the right direction? We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Controller at our well-established BSI Accident Repair Group based in Leicestershire. If you are an experienced Workshop Controller with a background in body shops or accident repair, join their friendly and skilled team.


About You:
  • Have previous experience in an accident repair centre, dealing with insurance-related repairs and damaged vehicles.
  • Are dynamic, career-focused, and ready to collaborate with our top-notch management team.
  • Possess expertise in your trade, are diligent, and can hit the ground running.


Requirements

  • Coordinate with production staff to track the influx of vehicles for repair.
  • Supervise skilled technicians in our body shop, including panel beaters, MET Technicians, and paint sprayers.
  • Assign tasks to technicians and ensure maximum productivity and adherence to deadlines.
  • Efficiently plan your workload to ensure vehicles are ready as per agreed timescales.
  • Perform work in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Make the best use of available resources as per our targets.
  • Uphold customer service standards as per company procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of workshop safety requirements, including ensuring staff wear the necessary personal protective equipment.
