Welcome to Southeast Texas HR! We are a leader in recruiting and HR services. We are currently seeking a Demand Planner with Supply Chain experience to join our team. As our Demand Planner, you would be responsible for predicting customer demands to guide supply chain operations properly. You will use analytical data to estimate future produce demands with the goal of maximizing cash flows, sales levels, and service. This will be a direct hire position. Your main schedule will be days Monday - Friday, but you may need to work some evenings and weekends. This position will start with a base salary of $65,000 per year and can go up based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Work with Operations and Sales to deliver forecasts
- Communicate supply position to business team
- Track current inventory
- Create solutions for any supply chain issues that could arise
- Anticipate factors that could influence demand of product and supply
- Manage the storage of all inventory
- Participate in supply reviews
- Manage a team of customer service associates
- Communicate with management regarding any issues or concerns
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other appropriate discipline
- GP, SAP, or other ERP experience
- 3 or more years of experience in planning/supply chain
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
