About the Role

Responsible for developing control systems software for two branches of our client

Responsibilities

- Create machine control documentation and programming specifications.
- Develop new software.
- Keep existing product software up to date.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with machine control systems.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in developing high-level feature requirements or change requests and converting them into functional specifications for software delivery teams.
• Over four years of experience in systems and requirements work within the Automotive or Heavy Equipment industry.
• Knowledge of software development with various UI frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting systems using various analytical tools.
• A solid grasp of automotive communication protocols, such as CAN and J1939.
• Practical experience in setting up and modifying test bench instrumentation, including wiring harnesses.
• Hands-on experience in crafting functional requirements for graphical displays, instrument clusters, infotainment systems, or mobile devices.
• Strong attention to detail throughout all phases of development, including requirements gathering, work coordination, and integration testing.
