Job Details:

 Job title: Order Picker - Depot: United Springburn - Reporting to: Distribution Manager

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Who we are:  

United Wholesale Grocers Limited have 3 have branches, 2 in Glasgow and 1 at Gateshead in the North East of England. We are primarily a Cash & Carry Wholesale business with a wide product portfolio consisting of Beers, Wines, Spirits, Soft Drinks, Confectionary, Crisps and Snacks, Household and Grocery.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

·       Picking and preparing customer’s orders ready for dispatch in an organised and timely fashion

·       Picking customers’ orders using handheld equipment

·       Picking customers’ orders directly into roll cages

·       Stock replenishment following correct procedures

·       Taking responsibility for the zone that you work in; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained

·       Supporting other departments as required
