About the Role | The Senior IT Director holds the responsibility of overseeing the daily operations of the IT team. This role involves planning, directing, evaluating, and managing the team's operations and procedures. |
Responsibilities | - Supervising the IT department, which includes infrastructure, help desk, networks, and software applications.
- Managing all phases of new project development and monitoring daily progress.
- Ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of products.
- Maintaining and updating existing programs.
- Overseeing hardware maintenance.
- Staying informed about security risks and ensuring corporate IT security.
- Reporting progress and challenges to senior management.
- Addressing and ensuring the prompt resolution of reported issues.
- Preparing and managing the IT budget.
- Recruiting and training new employees.

Candidate Requirements | - A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the technology field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within an IT setting.
- Extensive experience across all stages of the development lifecycle.
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in current security protocols and awareness of threats.
- Hands-on experience with relevant coding languages.
