- Develop and oversee maintenance programs for heavy vehicles, including regular inspections, repairs and other forms of preventative maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards for maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles.
- Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, including mechanics, technicians and other support staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for parts, tools, and other equipment.
- Monitor performance metrics and key performance indicators related to maintenance programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions accordingly.
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets and capital expenditures.
- Collaborate with other departments and key stakeholders to ensure effective communication, problem solving and decision making.
