Job Description


Change Management Analyst

Salary: Up to 375 per day, depending on experience

Duration: 6 month contract(outside IR35)

Hours: full-time 40 hrs Monday-Friday

Location: Hybrid/Manchester/Central London (there is a requirement for the successful candidate to be on site with business stakeholders on a regular basis)

About the role:

We are very excited about this amazing role as a Change Management Analyst. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our clients change processes, acting as a central point of contact for requesters and ensuring clear communication on status on change requests. Your keen analytical skills will be essential in evaluating proposed changes, assessing their impact on the organisation, and analysing scope, risks, and dependencies of each initiative, considering both short-term and long-term implications.



Key responsibilities:

  • Support the processes with facilitation and clear communication with requesters, providing a central point of contact on status. Evaluate proposed changes to determine their potential impact on the organisation. Analyse the scope, risks, and dependencies of each change initiative, considering both short-term and long-term implications.
  • Change Governance Framework: Help define, develop and maintain a robust change governance framework inline with UMOD, ITDP and Ops Risk, including policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, while also aligning with the organizations goals and objectives.
  • Perform verification and quality assurance of the Change Investment Decision documents which are submitted for approval to the Investment and Change Committee
  • Administer the proper recording of Change Investment Decision documents and manage them through the approval and signoff process, including management of any documents requiring governance remediation and / or sign-off
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track the progress of change initiatives, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on the outcomes to stakeholders (ICC submissions). Provide regular updates and insights on the effectiveness of change management efforts, highlighting areas of improvement or potential bottlenecks (ICC verification process)
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and enhance change governance processes and tools. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and promote a culture of change resilience within the organisation



Requirements


Essential skills and experience

  • Education and Experience:- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in change management, governance, or a related field. Prior experience as a change analyst is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with change/project management methodologies, such as Agile.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions. Attention to detail and a data-driven mindset are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including senior executives, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Experience in managing conflicting priorities and building consensus among diverse groups.
  • Change Management Knowledge: Sound understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Familiarity with change governance frameworks and associated tools (JIRA).
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Experience in fostering a positive team culture and building effective relationships.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using technology and software tools relevant to change management and analysis, such as project management software, data analytics tools, and communication platforms.
