As a Delivery Manager, you will have a passion for delivering outstanding levels of customer service and will be organised with good attention to detail and technical understanding of the product; managing the delivery of projects to ensure the benefits of the company strategy. Acting as the main point of contact and taking complete ownership of project, liaising with internal departments and project stakeholders and ensuring requirements are met on time and with a high level of quality and professionalism.

Tasks

About the Role

We are looking for a UK delivery manager. As a member of the delivery team, your main responsibilities are, but won't be limited to:

  • Work closely with our business, stakeholders and delivery partners to drive the development and delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Exchange project related information and knowledge with the team
  • Collaborate with specific teams and external parties to ensure solutions are fully aligned to business requirements and delivery timeline
  • Coordinate releases of application
  • Oversee operational service desk and manage reply to client and coordinate resolution where appropriate
  • Escalate complex challenges to senior team members or managers in a timely manner and work to assist in addressing those challenges
  • Customer focused, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises
  • Knowledge and use of standard program/project methods, tools and techniques
  • Ensures effective communication channels exist with all stakeholders - providing timely project and programme updates

Requirements

About You

You will be expected to have:

  • Understanding of project management skills such as project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and process documentation
  • Day-to-day management of projects to time, resources, cost and quality
  • Monitor the quality of project deliverables and ensure project objectives and milestones are met
  • Understanding of technical element and product behaviour to help support
  • Experience in project delivery that includes the use of suppliers
  • Track record of working both independently and in a multi-disciplinary-team collaborative
  • environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills including documentation
  • and reporting skills
  • Well-developed influencing skills, strength of character, tenacity, and cultural sensitivity to be
  • persuasive and effective
  • Flexibility; can accommodate additional working hours to meet deadlines when appropriate
  • Management skills to manage one or more complex projects simultaneously

Your main missions will be:

  • Lead project delivery based on agreed milestones
  • Coordinate releases of application and planned maintenance activities
  • Oversee operational side of the project and coordinate appropriate response to incidents
  • Mentor junior member of the team

The following are not essential but would be well-received by us in respect to this role:

  • Appropriate training in Project Management (Agile or Prince2), or equivalent experience
  • Technical background with experience across application development life cycle
  • Educated to Degree level in a relevant technical subject (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Experienced in the use of Project Planning tools (e.g. MS Project)
