Job Description

The business we are recruiting for is a leader in their specialist field within the construction industry. They are a growing company and considered a Lancashire success story. An opportunity has arisen within their business for a Marketing Administrator.

If you are an organised person with great communication skills then this could be the perfect job opportunity for you. The position will suit someone who has good administration skills, an interest, and ideally some experience, in marketing and who is a well organised and a confident communicator.

Your new job

Your role within the business will be quite varied and will include:

Marketing

  • Gathering content from the external teams (photos/write ups) for postings on all social media platforms including LinkedIn.
  • Creating case studies.
  • Working alongside the external marketing company.
  • Create social media posts.
  • Come up with and discuss new ideas with colleagues and the marketing company.
  • Oversee the creation of a new website with an external web company.
  • Refresh and design the new company brochure and other literature.
  • Keep a posting schedule and working in advance.
  • Organise events such as surveyor events, Christmas parties etc.
  • Gathering prices and ordering promotional kit.
  • Liaising with the PR company.

Administration

  • Dealing with customers, processing sales and purchase orders.
  • Booking transport and liaising with them for updates and dealing with any issues that may arise.
  • General office Admin duties such as ordering and replenishing office supplies.
  • Supporting of the internal and external teams.
  • Processing and issuing of guarantees.
  • Updating sales order reports.

Salary and benefits

  • Starting salary of between 18,000 and 24,000 (dependant on experience).
  • 25 days holiday per year.
