Maintenance Mechanic

• Responsible for all building carpentry, plumbing, electric and landscaping.
  
• Performs carpentry activities by designing facility layouts, building walls/furniture/ dividers,fixing/upgrading stock and fabricating metal as needed.
  
• Performs plumbing activities by fixing bathrooms/kitchens, installing water heaters and threadingpipes.
  
• Performs electrical work by installing/changing outlets/switches/lighting fixtures and arrangingoutlet configurations as needed.
  
• Performs general maintenance by cleaning/repairing machinery, adding coolant as needed, fixingforklifts (oil changes, belts, coolant), cleaning the outside of the buildings and doing groundskeeping (cutting grass, trimming bushes, shoveling snow).
  
• Operates fork lifts, aerial equipment, snow blowers & plows, and all other building maintenanceequipment (electric or gas).
  
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  

Requirements

• High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years experience in general maintenance work.
  
• Strong interpersonal, attention-to-detail and multi-tasking skills required.
  
• Knowledge of building construction and blueprints also required.
  
• Certifications for all equipment are required.
  
• Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are a must.
