Job Description

As a FP&A Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities of our organization. Your expertise will be critical in providing insightful financial analysis, driving strategic decision-making, and ensuring optimal financial performance.

What you ll be doing:

Financial Planning:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop annual operating budgets and periodic forecasts for Tharseo IT.
  • Assist in formulating long-term financial plans aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgeted and forecasted figures.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities to achieve financial targets and provide recommendations to management.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including revenue, expenses, profitability, and cost drivers.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
  • Interpret financial data, trends, and variances to facilitate decision-making and drive actionable insights.

Forecasting and Scenario Analysis:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data for accurate forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to perform scenario analysis and evaluate the impact of business decisions.
  • Provide recommendations based on forecasting outcomes to optimize financial performance.

Budget Management:

  • Monitor budget adherence and communicate potential deviations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure their budgets are in line with financial objectives.
  • Assist in developing budget variance analyses to support cost control efforts.

Strategic Financial Support:

  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
  • Assess the financial feasibility of proposed projects, investments, and business expansion opportunities.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously review and enhance financial planning and analysis processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices and modern tools to streamline financial reporting and analysis.

What you ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree inFinance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within the IT industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and utilizing Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of IT industry dynamics.

What s nice to have:

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial planning software is preferred.

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Tharseo IT s benefit programs.

Salary for roles at Tharseo IT varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set and level of experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,249.00 to $290,121.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Tharseo IT s total compensation package for employees.
