Job Description: Oracle WMS

Location- Los Angeles, CA

Duration: 10 + Months


Senior Oracle Warehouse Management Functional Consultant to assist a large multi-billion organization with the implementation of Oracle WMS Suite of modules.

High level duties will include develop a comprehensive design blueprint, system/process build (configurations), project issue resolution, RICE development (functional design and assist development teams), and assistance with the improvement of overall system processes.

Senior level. Overall experience 10+ years. Oracle WMS Functional Expert with Implementation experience, including:

o Experience of at least 3 full life cycle complex Oracle R12 WMS Implementations

o Expert level knowledge across the following areas on Oracle WMS Inbound Logistics, Inventory Control, Task Management, Outbound Logistics, MSCA.

o Expert level knowledge of the interaction between WMS applications with Oracle EBS Financials, Procurement, Manufacturing, ASCP, Logistics Applications.

o Must be proficient with Application Implementation Methodology and associated assets/documentation requirements (Oracle AIM and related methods, etc.)

Basic PL/SQL knowledge

Familiarity of Oracle Supply Chain modules and Oracle WMS database table structures

Ability in providing experience in leading practices, methods, and resources in the Oracle applications and technology space.

Key skills:

Configure Oracle Warehouse/Inventory Cloud modules to facilitate material and inventory tracking for a seamless production and distribution process. Additionally, will integrate quality and analytics into the solution with the goal of enabling outstanding user productivity and excellent return on investment.

Fully awareness of all phases of the ERP project governance, requirements definition, technology risk analysis, customization, testing, implementation, training, and rollout of a client's project lifecycle.

Non-technical skills needed:

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills.

Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues

Successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel up to 60% -70% to customer warehouse locations during implementation.

Additional skills needed:

Additional experience in one or more of the following Oracle Supply Chain Functions / Applications: Inventory, Bills of Material, Work in Progress, Shop Floor Manager, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Logistics experience.
