Sr Director Global Supply Chain Lubrizol Additives Clone

JOB SUMMARY:

The Lubrizol Additives (LZA) Global Supply Chain Director is responsible for cascading the mission and vision for the global LZA supply chain along with the design and implementation of our supply chain strategy necessary to safely support business goals, people development, employee engagement, supply chain performance and financial results. This leadership position is responsible for efficient execution of all supply chain operations across LZA to support the division’s business objectives. These operations include (i) demand planning, (ii) long-term strategic planning, (iii) medium term supply planning, (iv) short-term production scheduling, (v) customer service and (vi) customer assistance. An essential focus of this role is continuous improvement of the Sales & Operations Planning process that results in end-to-end alignment and efficient execution for strong balance between customer service levels and costs/inventory. This leader sits on the Additives Leadership Team (ALT) and the Global Supply Chain and Procurement (GSCP) Leadership Team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Manage the global supply chain organization to meet customer service and cost-to-serve expectations of the various businesses within LZA.
• Partner with the President of LZA to ensure global supply chain strategies are aligned with global LZA business strategies.
• Represent supply chain in the LZA leadership team meetings. Actively participate in business strategy session / develop supply chain plans to address needs identified in the business strategy.

• Work with the LZA Global Manufacturing Leaders to optimize manufacturing and supply chain coordination.

• Invest and prioritize in the development of current and future leadership through assignment of development opportunities, coaching, mentoring, and effective administration of rewards and recognition.

• Global supply chain coordination with regional supply chain organizations to globally optimize planning, production, and inventory management, set metrics for management of NWSM inventory levels and coordinate effective S&OP processes, and convey short & long term strategic initiatives.

• Work closely with the Logistics team to drive opportunities for streamline and optimize our distribution network, and implement supply chain process improvements to drive efficiency and performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in the areas of supply chain management, engineering, or other related field. Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 10 years of supply chain experience plus supervisory/managerial experience (supply chain, manufacturing and/or commercial experience).

CONSIDERED A PLUS:

• Advanced degree in supply chain or business management is preferred.
• Experience in large multinational chemicals environment is preferred.
