Job Title: Ultrasound Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technician to join our medical team in Wichita Falls, TX. The right candidate will have the expertise to perform diagnostic imaging tests using ultrasound equipment on patients to capture images of organs, tissues, and blood flow. The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for producing clear and accurate images while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform diagnostic imaging tests using ultrasound equipment.

Review patient medical history and explain the procedure to the patient.

Communicate effectively with physicians and other medical professionals for the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Ensure all diagnostic images are clear and accurate.

Ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure.

Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment.

Maintain updated knowledge of medical advancements and current diagnostic imaging trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

Bachelors degree or certification program in Ultrasound Technology from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals.

Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

Ability to optimize images and troubleshoot any technical equipment performance issues.
