Your responsibilities

Procurement management (70 %):

• Support the product development team in the search for suppliers and initial contacts in order to create the conditions for faster, cost-effective, and successful innovations
• Search, vet and qualify potential vendors and suppliers
• Liaison and first point of contact for R&D, planning, quality, production, and suppliers

Spend and price analysis (30%):

• Track monthly material prices and create spend dashboards for different categories
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve spend tracking and accuracy
• Generate reports on spending, demand management (volume), and compliance (contract and price accuracy)

TQG has its headquarters in Hamburg/Elmshorn and offers roles in Hamburg, in Elmshorn, in a hybrid setup as well as in a remote setup.

Requirements :

• Successfully completed studies with a relevant focus (e.g. business, finance, or engineering)
• Initial professional experience in project management and procurement, preferably in the food sector
• Strong analytical skills (spend analysis, target cost analysis, market P&I)
• Excellent skills in MS Excel, Smartsheet, Tableau and database management
• Strong project management skills
• Good skills in dealing with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external
• Good command of written and spoken English
