Bicycle Mechanic

Our client, an established bike shop with a reputation for quality products and outstanding customer service, is seeking an experienced Bicycle Mechanic to join their team. As a Bicycle Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining bicycles of all types and brands, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine bicycle maintenance and repairs, including tuning gears and brakes, replacing tires and tubes, and installing new components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot more complex issues, such as damaged frames or drivetrain problems, and provide expert repair solutions
• Provide exceptional customer service, including assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate products and services
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and services provided, and ensure that customer information is up-to-date and organized
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and attend training and professional development opportunities as required
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, and assist with other tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Bicycle Mechanic, with a proven track record of high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service
• A comprehensive knowledge of bicycle components and mechanics, and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to providing top-notch service to every customer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
• A team player with a positive and supportive attitude, and a willingness to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
• Passion for cycling and a commitment to promoting sustainable and healthy transportation options
