Job Description
TalentWorx Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Manufacturing Client in Hartselle, Alabama. If you have Industrial Maintenance experience as a Multi-craft, Industrial Electrician, Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, or Maintenance Technician and meet the qualifications below, we'd love to speak! This is a 2nd Shift Position. Working hours are 3:00 P.M.- 1:00 A.M. This role will require a significant amount of OT as our client builds their maintenance department staffing levels. - Advanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and piping
- Advanced mechanical skills
- Advanced electrical knowledge
- Understanding the basics of PLC operations.
- Types of cards
- Meaning of indicator lights
- HMI navigation.
- Difference between upload/download, input/output, analog/discrete, etc.
- Identify 480v, 270v, 120v ac as well as low voltage dc.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Identify common electrical and mechanical symbols.
- Locate and identify power distribution to stand-alone equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of CNC machinery operations
- General knowledge of robotics and automation
- Identify major components involved with industrial automation and their uses/purposes. Must be able to visually identify VFDs, contactors, power supplies, etc., in an industrial cabinet.
- Advanced knowledge of power transmissions such as gearboxes and motors
- Display proficiency with a multimeter.
- Able to identify high/low voltage
- 480, 277, 120VAC and 24/12/5VDC.
- Ability to verify locked out voltage source is isolated and safe for work
- Able to identify high/low voltage
