We are now conducting interviews for a full time Special Education Teacher ( hours per week). This caseload will only consist of up to 8 high school

The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for formulating, implementing and managing each students education plan for the duration of the school The ideal candidate must be a team player and be willing to work with other staff members who will assist the students in reaching their yearly

Scope of the position:

• Assess and evaluate each student on the caseload to determine their needs for the school year
  
• Collaborate with a team of school members to formulate an Individualized Education Plan for the students on the caseload
  
• Attend and be present in all Individualized Education Plan meetings
  

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelors degree or greater in an education or special education related degree
    
  • Georgia teachingcertificationwith properspecial education endorsement
    
  • Professional and reliable
