Your Challenges & Opportunities

In this role you will contribute and support the development of the Spryker cloud platform using high standards of code quality and thoughtful

You will develop an understanding of Spryker product offerings as well as fit this knowledge into building a cloud platform used by thousands of You ll collaborate with the product development team to produce requirements for infrastructure tool sets necessary to provision and maintain product

The Senior Cloud infrastructure Engineer will define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure

You will build self service capability of the platform to manage multiple AWS infrastructure components like VPC and networking, ECS, ES, EC, EC2, RDS, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, ALB, NLB, CloudWatch, KMS, ECR, S3, EFS, Route53, SES, SNS, and

You will also be responsible for the automation and improvement of our CI/CD automation to speed up the deployment cycles (both application and infra) and perform technical resource functions to solve specific project

In this role you ll have the opportunity to help identify problem points within the platform and improve our observability You ll also ensure robust, stable, and secure back-end infrastructure to support the product

You will be able to create standards and tools that enable faster delivery of software features with governance enforcement of coding and test standards while following agile software development practices and stay up to date with industry

Our Expectations & Qualifications

• Experience in working with production infrastructure in AWS
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible
• Experience in working with scripting languages like python, bash, etc
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with git
• Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks like CloudWatch, Splunk, Newrelic, Datadog, and APM
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate core concepts (CI/CD, Agile & Automation)
• You are intellectually curious, like challenging the status quo, and learning is a natural process and inspiration for you
• You actually enjoy working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment, while embracing change positively
• You strive for innovation and are curious and passionate for anything AI and automation related

Nice to have:

• Experience with working in company with Cloud Native approach
• Good understanding of container orchestration technologies (ECS, K8s)
• Understanding of other cloud providers offering: GCP, Azure
• Experience in building observability: metrics, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Solution-oriented and proactive, attentive to details, eager to learn new technologies
