In the role of Senior Legal Advisor you will be responsible for the legal affairs of the branch within the Wefox Group. This role includes providing legal counsel to the General Manager and to other senior The Senior Legal Advisor manages the legal activities related to Insurance Regulation, Commercial Law, Civil Law, Privacy regulation, Pre-Litigations analysis, giving advice and supporting the branch to minimize Legal The Senior Legal Advisor works in close relationship with the Legal Offices of the Insurance Headquarter and other group The Senior Legal Advisor will also act as Data Protection The position requires strong initiative, international experience, as well as excellent management

In this role you will:

  • Manage Legal Department supervising all processes and
  • Maintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, international and group departments, lawyers, regulators and official bodies
  • Advising the General Manager (GM) and other senior management on legal issues
  • Draft and review Company agreements and
  • Coordinate the external lawyers, legal consultants, notaries and service suppliers
  • Support the GM in setting up and maintaining the governance of the branch
  • Support the outsourcing responsible in implementing the governance and control of the service providers (internal and external)
  • Close collaboration with the Compliance coordinator
  • Manage the GDPR directive compliance and act as Data Protection Officer
  • Grant Corporate compliance (Company guidelines, Antitrust, Data Protection, Legislative Decree 231).
  • Manage judicial litigations, coordinating the defense

What you bring:

  • Excellent Italian Degree in Law; Italian Bar Exam could be a plus
  • 10+ years of Insurance experience (mandatory)
  • Fluent English (German is a plus)
  • Team player; easy going personality
  • Works well under pressure
  • Happy and available to support/manage non-legal stuff/activities
